The Capital of Silicon Valley

Discover the largest city in Northern California, San Jose, boasting a population of over 971,000. This renowned destination, nestled in Santa Clara County, embodies the luxurious and opulent lifestyle that California is known for. San Jose stands out for its ingenuity, diverse culture, wealth, and pleasant Mediterranean climate. The city’s ties to the thriving high-tech world of Silicon Valley inspired Mayor Tom McEnery to adopt the city’s 1988 motto, “Capital of Silicon Valley,” to showcase its potential. Due to its immense popularity, a plethora of hotels, apartments, and condominiums can be found throughout the region to cater to tourists and residents alike.

SB 721 Deck Inspection Services for San Jose

On January 1, 2019, Senate Bill 721 was enacted, mandating safety inspections for multi-family housing with 3 or more units in San Jose and throughout all of California state. At California Deck Inspection (CDI), we prioritize safety and structural soundness by thoroughly examining your wood or wood-based balconies, decks, porches, railings, landings, walkways, stairways and entry structures.

CDI conducts the inspection and a comprehensive report is generated. This includes a detailed assessment of the condition, projected lifespan, and necessary repairs for all exterior elevated elements (EEE). By providing this essential information, property owners and managers can budget for physical asset management to enhance the longevity of the building and ensure a secure environment for residents and visitors. In the case of any urgent or imminent hazards that may compromise the safety of inhabitants, the inspector is required to promptly notify the HOA and government inspection agencies within 15 days of the report.
